About Melinda Hagan
Hailing from Florala, Alabama, Melinda Hagan was born into a musical family. Growing up in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Melinda has been singing as long as she can remember. A true country girl at heart, when she wasn’t listening to Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton, Melinda was either riding horses or dirt bikes.
The daughter of a WWII Navy pilot and a professional singer, Melinda’s passion for music has led her all over. From moving to Nashville to pursue her dream, to meeting her husband, Clark, on her first time in the studio, Melinda is living proof that sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
Melinda has opened up for Marty Haggard, performed on Nashville Stars, played in a variety of bands, and even worked at Porter Wagoner’s studio (Fireside Recording Studio). After all this adventure, Melinda settled down in Elizabeth, Colorado, where she lives with her husband and two kids.
